SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Platform Engineerto join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will work extensively with healthcare data standards, API integrations, security implementations, and AI-driven solutions. You will also need to have experience with transaction processing and the development of cybersecurity systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop modern, responsive front-end applications with complex API integrations
• Build and maintain reusable component libraries and front-end architecture
• Implement state management solutions for complex front-end applications
• Create and optimize API integration layers and middleware solutions
• Implement real-time data synchronization and WebSocket connections
• Develop and maintain OMOP CDM data models and FHIR-compliant interfaces
• Develop ETL pipelines for healthcare data standardization and transformation
• Create and optimize data mapping solutions between different healthcare data standards
• Implement data quality validation and verification processes
• Develop and integrate AI/ML solutions with standardized healthcare data
• Configure and maintain security monitoring tools including Zeek, OSSEC, and Suricata
• Develop custom parsers for security log analysis and threat detection
• Implement and manage Google Cloud Security Operations (SecOps) solutions
• Implement data ingestion and processing pipelines for large volumes of security data
• Integrate AI-driven analytics capabilities and optimize system performance
• Develop APIs and integrations with various IT and security tools
• Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Python and C#
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with real-time data processing, analytics frameworks, and front-end technologies
• Expertise in data pipeline technologies, ELK stack, and Apache Kafka
• Strong experience with state management solutions (Redux, MobX, Vuex, or similar)
• Proven experience integrating complex RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Experience with real-time data handling and WebSocket implementations
• Experience building and maintaining component libraries
• Demonstrated experience working with OMOP Common Data Model (CDM)
• Strong knowledge of FHIR standards and implementations
• Experience with healthcare data transformations and ETL processes
• Hands-on experience with security tools including Zeek, OSSEC, and Suricata
• Experience developing custom log parsers and security analytics
• Demonstrated experience with Google Cloud Security Operations
• Experience with transaction processing and the development of cybersecurity systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and without formal guidance and written specifications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with SIEM systems, machine learning in cybersecurity contexts
• Familiarity with big data technologies, time-series databases, and data warehousing solutions
• Knowledge of API gateway patterns and implementations
• Experience with BFF (Backend for Frontend) patterns
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia)
• Experience with OHDSI tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology standards (SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm)
• Experience with healthcare interoperability platforms
• Advanced knowledge of network security protocols and threat detection
• Experience with SIEM platforms and security analytics
• Experience writing custom Zeek scripts and Suricata rules
• Knowledge of incident response procedures and forensics
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITECH)
• Experience implementing and fine-tuning LLM solutions
• Experience with testing frameworks and test-driven development
• Knowledge of security best practices and OWASP guidelines

SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $119,000 Annually
